Hudson Haunted House
The 39th annual Hudson Haunted House will be open throughout October and is located at 2250 Barlow Road. Not for the faint of heart - guests will encounter room after room of monsters and horrors that will shock and surprise. Winding corridors lead you down a maze of uncertainty and doom. Parade of Bands
The 50th Annual Parade of Bands will take place at 7 p.m. on October 2, at Lavelli Field. The gates open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $7 at the gate, or can be purchased in advance at Acme in Hudson, The Learned Owl Book Shop or the Hudson High School office for $5. Twinsburg, Waterloo, Solon, Southeast, James A. Garfield and Hudson bands will participate. Join us for this 50th anniversary celebration featuring fireworks and more. Case Barlow Farm Fall Harvest Festival
The annual Case Barlow Farm Fall Harvest Fest will be held from 1 – 5 p.m. at the farm located at 1931 Barlow Road. Guests enjoy old-fashioned games such as sack races, bobbing for apples, a cakewalk, horseshoes and checkers. Also on hand will be crafts, live entertainment, pumpkin sales, hay wagon rides, pony rides and a petting farm. Admission is $4 per child and $6 per adult and includes all activities. Taking place from 7 – 9:30 p.m., this tour of mysterious places in the Hudson Village will engage guests in seasonal lore. Told by actors from The Hudson Players, the tour begins at the Brewster Mansion located at 9 Aurora Street. Adult tickets are $12 and students and seniors are $10.50. The Merchants of Hudson invite costumed youngsters to attend their annual Trick or Treat event from 4 – 6 p.m. along Main Street, First & Main and the Acme Plaza. View the windows painted courtesy of Hudson Schools and show off your best costume. Enjoy games, contests, pumpkin painting and more.

Scarecrow Ball
The second annual Scarecrow Ball will be held at Lake Forest Country Club, located at 100 Lake Forest Drive, on Saturday, October 30 from 6 – 11 p.m. This fundraiser will feature dinner, live music, dancing, The Parade of the Scarecrows (for all who come in costume), raffles, refreshments and a cash bar. Hosted by the Hudson in Bloom Foundation, all funds raised will be used for specific Hudson beautification projects. Tickets are $50 per person and $95 per couple. As plans are confirmed, more details will be posted here.
