7 PM Hudson Summer Music Festival: Concerts on the Green
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy these FREE concerts at the Gazebo every Sunday evening. Concerts start at 7 PM and feature music for every taste. Back-up location in case of rain is the Hudson High School Auditorium located at 2400 Hudson-Aurora Road. Sponsored and organized by the Bandstand Committee. 7-11 PM Hail to the Chefs
The 7th annual Hail to the Chefs is a premier gala to showcase many of the chefs and restaurants participating in this year's Taste of Hudson. The event will be held on Friday, June 1, at Lake Forest Country Club, from 7-11 PM. The area's finest chefs will serve up preview samples of their selections for Taste of Hudson, the annual two-day food and entertainment festival to be held on Labor Day weekend, September 2 & 3, 2012.

The line-up of chefs and restaurants for the Hail to the Chefs event includes:

Selections will also include appetizers by Adams Reserve, New York Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Chef Ray Slagle of Lake Forest Country Club, who will also create magnificent desserts for guests that evening.
Honorary Chairs for Hail to the Chefs are Mr & Mrs Shawn M. Lyden, Akron Children's Hospital and Kathy Chadwick-Koke, Laurel Lake Retirement Community. The event chair is Hudson resident and Taste of Hudson Wine & Beer Garden Coordinator Carrie Gynn. The event will also feature spectacular entertainment, live and silent auctions, and a complimentary gift to each attendee. Joe Cronauer from WKYC-TV3 will be appearing as Special Host for the evening, and will be assisting with the drawing of the Ultimate Raffle Experience winners.

The event will begin at 7 PM with cocktails and appetizers, followed by the unveiling of each restaurant's display of delectable food. Many of the fine wines and craft beers that are a part of the North End Wine & Beer Garden at Taste of Hudson will be showcased throughout the evening. The live auction will feature exciting prizes including a ride on the Goodyear Blimp, while the popular Hail to the Chefs silent auction will feature unique items from local and regional businesses as well as many one-of-a-kind experiences. Attendees will be treated to the sounds of The Fabulous VOICES Band throughout the evening.

As always, Hail to the Chefs, like Taste of Hudson, will benefit the Safe Kids Coalition of Summit County and other local charities. Tickets are by reservation only, and information is available online at www.tasteofhudson.com. Ticket prices are $90 per person prior to May 25 and $100 after and at the door. Groups of eight or more may purchase tickets for $80 apiece. Each ticket also includes an entry ticket for the Ultimate Raffle Experience; winners will be drawn at Hail to the Chefs.

9 AM-12:30 PM Hudson Farmers Market
The Hudson Farmers Market will embark upon its sixth season this year with markets transforming the Village Green every Saturday morning from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. Beginning June 9 and running through September 29 (including holiday weekends), the market features over 30 local vendors with local produce and products. 29th Annual Hudson Junior Invitational Golf Tournament
Over 100 top-ranked golfers ages 15–18 compete in this prestigious tournament held annually at the Country club of Hudson. 10 AM-5 PM Hudson Festival Days: Home & Garden Tour
The 64th annual Hudson Home & Garden Tour will showcase some of the city's most notable homes and gardens. Tour hours are 10 AM to 5 PM both days. Tickets are $20 pre-sale and $25 during the event. Presale tickets are available at The Learned Owl Book Shop and Acme June 1 – 13 and at the ticket tent off of Church Street during the Tour.
The Hudson Garden Club's Garden Shop will be open 10 AM-5 PM at the Hudson Middle School, featuring many of the plants found on the tour, including Hudson "Pinks" and other native plants. Also at the school, the popular Tea Room will be open 2–5 PM, offering complimentary tea and cookies. Organized and sponsored by the Hudson Garden Club. 10 AM-5 PM Hudson Festival Days: Clothesline Art Show
The Clothesline Art Show is sponsored by the Hudson Society of Artists and runs in conjunction with the Hudson Home & Garden Tour. Held at the Hudson Middle School Commons, 77 N. Oviatt Street, this FREE art show runs from 10 AM to 5 PM each day and features over 300 original works of art cleverly displayed by local artists and offered at reasonable prices. 6-9 PM Hudson Festival Days: Ice Cream Social
A tradition started in 1948, the Ice Cream Social will be held on the clocktower green in the center of town from 6 to 9 PM. Enjoy ice cream, local entertainment, food and games for all ages. Activities are FREE to the public, although tickets are required for refreshments. Advance tickets available at The Learned Owl Book Shop in June. Rain location: Hudson High School. Following the Ice Cream Social Screen on the Green
Grab a blanket and some popcorn and head over to the First & Main Green for Hudson's summer outdoor movie series! These FREE community movie nights begin with pre-movie entertainment at 8 PM; the movie begins between 8:30 and 9 PM based on the level of darkness.
