Wine, Women & Song
And now with something completely different: Actors' Summit Theater presents three cabaret programs: "Wine, Women & Song – Acts 1, 2, 3." Each evening will be filled with fabulous music chosen and sung by talented women who have performed at Actors' Summit in one or more of the 95 major productions over the years. 7-11 PM Hail to the Chefs
This event, in its fourth year, will be held on Saturday, June 5, at the Hudson Library and Historical Society, from 7 PM until 11 PM. The area's finest chefs will serve up preview samples of their selections for Taste of Hudson, the annual two-day food and entertainment festival to be held on Labor Day weekend, September 5 and 6, 2010.
The event will begin at 7 PM with an out-of-doors wine tasting under a beautifully decorated tent. The wine tasting, produced by North End, will feature select, celebrated wines, crafted beers selected by House of LaRose and delicious appetizers. The popular Hail to the Chefs silent auction will feature many unique items from local and regional businesses. Attendees will be treated to the sounds of The Fabulous VOICES Band while on the patio. At 8 PM, the event will move indoors where the chefs will showcase some of the foods they will serve at Taste of Hudson, a two-day festival to be held over Labor Day weekend. Plus, should the Cleveland Cavaliers be playing that night in the NBA playoffs, the game will be shown live!
Importantly, Hail to the Chefs, like Taste of Hudson, will benefit the Safe Kids Coalition of Summit County and other local charities. Tickets are by reservation only - click here for ticket information. Ticket prices are $85 per person in advance and $100 at the door.

Festival of Liturgical Arts of the Western Reserve
The Festival of Liturgical Arts of the Western Reserve (FLAWR) is a five-day synthesis of worship, workshops, discussions and master-classes for musicians and clergy devoted to the continual development of their craft. FLAWR was created to bring together preachers, teachers, musicians and artists to share their unique gifts in the creation of liturgies that reflect the beauty and splendor of God. Held at Christ Church, Western Reserve Academy and the First Congregational Church of Hudson, classes, lectures and panel discussions are available to those who register for the festival. Hudson Festival Days: Hudson Home & Garden Tour
The 63rd annual Hudson Home & Garden Tour will showcase some of the city's most notable homes & gardens including five homes with gardens and three additional gardens. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 beginning June 17. Pre-sale tickets are available at The Learned Owl Book Shop and Acme starting June 1. The Club's Garden Shop will be open 12 – 5 p.m. and the Tea Room will be open 2 – 5 p.m. at Hudson Middle School and will feature complimentary tea and cookies. Many plants will be for sale, including many of the plants found on the tour, Hudson "Pinks," and other plants native to the area. Organized and sponsored by the Hudson Garden Club. Hudson Festival Days: Clothesline Art Show
The Clothesline Art Show is sponsored by the Hudson Society of Artists and runs in conjunction with the Hudson Home & Garden Tour. Held at the Hudson Middle School Commons, 77 N. Oviatt Street, this FREE art show features over 300 original works of art cleverly displayed by local artists and offered at reasonable prices. 6-9 PM Hudson Festival Days: Ice Cream Social
A tradition started in 1948, the Ice Cream Social will be held on the green in the center of town near the Gazebo from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy ice cream, local entertainment, food and games for all ages. Activities are FREE to the public, although tickets are required for refreshments. Advance tickets available at The Learned Owl Book Shop in June. Held in First & Main on the green and along Village Way, the first annual Blues & BBQ Festival will feature fun for the whole family. From 2 – 8 p.m., guests can sample ribs, chicken and other amazing food from local food vendors competing for the "Top Hawg" award. ACT... A Children's Theater Summer Youth Musical
ACT... A Children's Theater presents A Night at the Wax Museum to be held at the Barlow Community Center on Friday and Saturday, June 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets will be available in advance at The Learned Owl or at the door. ACT is a community theater comprised of students in grades 3 through 8.

Hudson Farmers Market
The Hudson Farmers Market will embark upon its fourth season this year with markets transforming the Village Green every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Beginning June 26 and running through October 2 (including holiday weekends), the market features over 30 local vendors with local produce and products.
