Dusk Hudson Community Fireworks
Join us for an amazing fireworks display at Case-Barlow Farm, set up by Hudson's own American Fireworks. Enjoy family and friends, and celebrate as the sky lights up with heart-pounding fireworks. The show begins at dusk. Organized and sponsored in part by the Hudson Community Foundation. Ample parking is available at the JoAnn Stores lot on the corner of Terex and Route 91. Second annual Hudson Wine Festival
Summit Charitable Events Foundation is pleased to present the second annual Hudson Wine Festival, a benefit for PAWSibilities, The Humane Society of Greater Akron (HSGA). This event is sponsored by Vue Restaurant and First & Main. The event will showcase over 250 wines from local, national and international producers. Guests will enjoy musical entertainment, delectable foods, cooking demonstrations, discussions on wine trends and various raffles throughout the weekend.
The Hudson Wine Festival will take place Saturday, July 18 from 1–9 PM and Sunday, July 19 from 1–5 PM along Village Way in the beautiful First & Main shopping district. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and include 10 tastings and a souvenir wine glass. Additional tastings are 10 for $5 at the event. In addition, a special V.I.P. event will be held Friday, July 17 at 6 PM at Vue Restaurant where guests will be treated to mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres from Chef Rick Carson and his staff, along with premium wine tastings and a silent auction among other activities. V.I.P. tickets are available for $125 and can be purchased at Vue, HSGA or online.
The Hudson Wine Festival raised more than $17,000 for the Humane Society in 2008 and drew over 3,000 people. A Children's Theater of Hudson - Summer Musical
This local children's theater will be featuring their summer musical at the Barlow Community Center, located at 41 S. Oviatt Street.
