Hudson Community Fireworks
Join us for an amazing fireworks display at Case-Barlow Farm, set up by Hudson's own American Fireworks. Enjoy family and friends and celebrate as the sky lights up with heart-pounding fireworks. The show begins at dusk. Organized and sponsored in part by the Hudson Community Foundation. Ample parking available at the JoAnn Stores lot on the corner of Terex and Route 91. Ohio Chautauqua
An exciting new event taking place in Hudson is Ohio Chautauqua which will take place July 6–10 at Hudson High School. Music will begin at 6 p.m. and performances by scholars start at 7 p.m. The Hudson Library and Historical Society will also be hosting workshops for youth daily at 10 a.m., and adult workshops at 2 p.m.. Scholars will focus on the 1930's, and their subjects include: WC Fields, Margaret Mitchell, Paul Robeson, Eleanor Roosevelt and Orson Welles. Music Nights at First & Main
Grab a blanket and some chairs and head over to the First & Main Village Green every Friday and Saturday in July and August. Enjoy area bands as they perform lively cover music and originals to suit all tastes. Concerts start at 7 p.m. and are free to the public. Sponsored and organized by First & Main. Merchants of Hudson Annual Sidewalk Sale
This annual event provides shoppers with a chance to save big at more than 80 local businesses throughout downtown and greater Hudson. Everything from books to clothes to toys, home decor and sporting equipment will be offered at great bargains. To help fuel you along the way, area restaurants will also be serving up great specials. Hudson Wine Festival
Showcasing over 250 wines, the Hudson Wine Festival is a benefit for Pawsibilities, The Humane Society of Greater Akron. The event kicks off Friday, July 16 with a VIP reception on the Hudson Library & Historical Society Green where guests will sample premium wines and mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres as well as enjoy musical entertainment. The Wine Festival opens to the public on Saturday, July 17 from 1 – 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 18 from 1 – 6 p.m. along Village Way in the First & Main Shopping District.
The festival will feature musical entertainment, food, artists and pet-related activities. Tickets for the wine tasting are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and include 10 tastes and a souvenir wine glass. Additional tastes are 10 for $5 on site. All other activities are open to the public at no charge. Presented by Summit Charitable Events Foundation and sponsored by First & Main.
