Funky February Art Show at Hudson Fine Art and Framing Co.
Come to the Funky February Art Show to rid yourself of the winter blues. At Hudson Fine Art and Framing Co. in the Brewster Mansion, 9 Aurora Street, Hudson, Ohio.
Is winter dragging on? Do you miss the sunshine? At Hudson Fine Art and Framing Co. we're celebrating spring early this year! Join us as we chase away the winter blues at our bright and colorful Funky February Art Show. The show will include beautiful floral photographs by Neil Evans, hilarious digital creations by Chuck Wimmer, lively oils by Cindi Schmitt-Del Balso and funky pottery by Dave Repicky. Hurry in and find the perfect Valentine's gift, or maybe the perfect gift for yourself! The show opened Feb. 5, and will run through the end of February.

Last Train to Nibroc at Actors' Summit Theater
In December 1940, on an east-bound train, May shares her seat with a young flyer, Raleigh. May plans to be a missionary. Raleigh, discharged from the Army Air Corps for medical reasons, is heading to New York to be a writer. Over the next two and a half years they come together, drift apart, and back together again. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 2 PM (no performance on Dec. 24th or 25th). Tickets: www.actorssummit.org or 330-342-0800.

Authors Adam Besenyodi and John Booth at The Learned Owl Book Shop
The Learned Owl will be hosting Adam Besenyodi, author of Deus Ex Comica: The Rebirth of a Comic Book Fan, and John Booth with his book, Collect All 21! Memoirs of a Star Wars Geek, both from 3-5 PM. Both authors will be fresh from their previous weekend's appearance at the Akron-Canton Comic Con. Besenyodi will be giving a 45 minute presentation, featuring graphics of the Marvel Comics that he loved growing up and now loves to share with his son, starting at 4 PM. Both authors will sign books and chat with visitors.

The Loudhorns at Hudson High School
The Hudson High School Music Association presents Jazz Fest 2010 with a performance by The Loudhorns at 7:00 p.m. in the Hudson High School Auditorium, located at 2500 Hudson-Aurora Road in Hudson. The Loudhorns, from Nashville, Tennessee, offer electrifying live performances and a mix of jazz classic, pop covers and original songs. The eleven-piece group includes Steve Patrick, Vinnie Ciesielski, and Mike Casteel on trumpet and flugelhorn; Erin Horner on French horn; Barry Green and Roy Agee on trombone; Joe Murphy on tuba; Ron Gilmore on keyboards; Adam Agati on guitar; Tony Nagy on bass and Jason Waters on drums.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door and are limited to 800. Tickets are available at these Hudson locations: The Learned Owl Book Shop, 204 N. Main Street; Acme Fresh Market, 116 W.
